Mt. Kailash & Manasarovar Yatra (17 Days)

Pilgrimage to Manasarover and the Holy Mt. Kailash

Mt.Kailash claimed to be the apex of the Hindu religious axis is also one of the highest mountain in Tibet at 22,022 feet, and Lake Manasarover at 14,950 feet is said to be the highest fresh water lake in the world. Certainly a difficult region to reach due to the variable and extreme weather conditions.

Only during the last few years have lots of ordinary and not so ordinary travelers, been able to experience this region. Road conditions are difficult much of the time and we have to make many preparations to ensure that we have a reasonable chance of reaching Kailash. We need to bring our own food and camping equipment. Basic lodges and tea-houses can be found but the plateau is so remote that it is possible to travel for several days without finding food available.

Itinerary
Day 01	Arrive Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02	Morning: Half day Sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath Stupa. Afternoon: Kailash briefing about your tour to Kailash, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03	Early Morning Drive from Kathmandu to Kodari (Nepal Boarder). Check in at Kodari Eco Resort. And afternoon you can visit Hot Spring. Overnight at Kodari Eco Resort.
Day 04	After breakfast, we have to do all customs and immigration formalities, we drive up to Zhangmu and to Naylam. Overnight at Naylam Hotel.
Day 05	Full day rest at Naylam for acclimatize. Overnight at Naylam Hotel.
Day 06	Drive from Naylam to Saga (4640m.).Overnight at Guest House.
Day 07	Drive from Saga to Paryang (4540m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 08	Drive from Paryang to Manasarover (4700m) Overnight at Camp.
Day 09	After breakfast drive around lake Manasarover. Lunch will be provide on the way, and drive to Darchen. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 10	Drive up to starting point of Kailash Parikarma. Start trek to Dira Puk (4909m). Overnight at Camp.
Day 11	Continue Parikarma over Dromala Pass (5650m) to Zuth Puk (22 Km 7-8 hrs). Overnight at Camp.
Day 12	End Kailash Parikarma Near Darchen (4700m), and drive to lake Manasarover. Overnight at Camp.
Day 13	Drive from Lake Manasarover to Paryang(4540m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 14	Drive from Paryang to Saga (4640m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 15	Drive from Saga to Naylam ( 3800m).Overnight at Guest House.
Day 16	Drive from Naylam to the Friendship bridge and to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 17	Departure transfer to the Airport.
